The Bold and the Bashful

This week we learned a lot of new vocabulary. We understood what bold and bashful means. We saw some plays which were dramatized by our classmates, and in those presentations we could see the negative effects of being a shy person.

Honesty is the best policy

As this chapter says honesty is the best policy. We discussed in class about in which cases people use to say lies.

Innovation Week

We attended to Silvia Castro’s presentation. The presentation was about Neuroscience and the different methods that we can use to improve the way we learn. I also attended to some of the presentations that were given during the Innovation Week and all of them were really interesting.

Addictive Personalities

This week we learned about addictive personalities. We also studied what a person can do to overcome an addiction. We had to do a presentation. My classmates and I did a road play where Luis was an addict and he visited a doctor, a physiologist and a yoga instructor to overcome his addiction. Also each student had to find a wear addiction and shared with the class; we discovered that nowadays there are a lot of new and odd addictions.

Introduction

This week we had the opportunity to know our classmates and our new teacher. We had to introduce ourselves and also wrote an autobiography. We also opened this Blog to put our essays and other activities that we do in class.
