Autobiography

My name is Graciela Rojas Sánchez; I am 18 years old, and my birthday is on September 9th. I live in San Jose, Costa Rica with my family. My family members are Juan Carlos, which is my father, Guiselle, that is my mother and my two little sisters, Adriana and Fabiana; they are 15 and 2 years old. I also have a dog which is a French Poodle; my dog’s name is FIFI. I have three best friends; their names are Sofia, Melissa, and Daniela; we always share everything like secrets, parties and a lot of anecdotes that we have lived through the years. I finished the primary school in 2004; I graduated from Instituto de Desarrollo de la Inteligencia primary school. In 2009 I graduated from Don Bosco Technical High School in computer science specialty. The high school sent me to do the professional practice to ITS which is a company that provides telecommunication solutions for service providers and different enterprises. When I finished the practice, the company gave me the opportunity to work there and I accepted it, so I got my first job. I work as a telecommunications technician and I have to do tasks like, designing, configuring and implementing networks. I have been studying to improve my professional level. On February 3^rd, I did an exam to become a CCNA; it is a certification that is important in the networking area, and I passed it. I also started college this year; my major is Computer Engineering, and I am in my second four-month period.

Other important aspects of my life are the things that I like and dislike. I like everything that is related to technology; this is one of the reasons why I work in the networking world because you have a lot of interaction with new technology. Of course I like to do other activities; I not only work but also I like go out with my friends to the movies, parties, and restaurants. I also like to spend time with my family, for example I love to play with my baby sister; it is so funny for me because she is mischievous. I like to go to the beach because I love to enjoy the sunny days and swim in a pool. I like junk food, especially pizza and I like sea food too. One of the things that I really dislike is liars, and I always try to keep those people far from me.

My short-term goals are to become a CCNP, complete my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, and acquire work experience. When I finish my Bachelor’s degree, I will start a Master’s degree in Networks and Telematics Systems. I am not pretty sure if I want to get married, but if I do, it is going to be when I already have a house and a stable job. One of my life objectives is to travel around the world and to visit a lot of places and learn about cultures, so I have to work hard to make it true. I think that in this moment of my life, I am focused on the studies and my job, but, of course, I take care of other important things like family, friends and health.
